CHIAM E-Laine

E-Laine is a Partner in our Intellectual Property Practice.

She specialises in all areas of intellectual property law. She manages the trade mark and patent protection in Singapore and the region for several major companies from a variety of industries. E-Laine is a registered Patent Agent, a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Agents (ASPA), and a registered Trade Mark and Industrial Designs agent in Malaysia. She has served on the Examination Committee for the Singapore Patent Agents Qualifying Examination and on the Executive Committee of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA). She has also contributed articles to the Singapore Academy of Law Journal and other legal publications. She was awarded the ASEAN Scholarship by the Singapore government.

E-Laine graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1991. She joined Donaldson & Burkinshaw in 1991.
