David has been in practice as an Advocate and Solicitor since 1982 and holds a Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and attended the 15th Annual Summer School in Legal Aspects of International Finance at the Centre of Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary College, University of London. For several years he acted as an Honorary Legal Advisor to the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents (IEA). He is currently a tutor at the Singapore Institute of Legal Education for the course in real estate practice.

He specializes in real estate transactions and handles all types of property related work, including residential, commercial and industrial sales and purchase, landlord and tenant matters, bank related mortgages and probate and administration of estate matters.

He has extensive experience in collective property sales transactions. The collective sales that he has handled include St. Martin’s Court, Tat Lee Court, Nathan Court, Hoover Flats, Mulan Court, Emerald Lodge, Venus Mansion, 24 @ Newton, Nos. 29, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49 Minbu Road, Tong Watt Mansion, Shelford Court, Aura Park, St. Patrick’s View, Phoenix Mansion, Nos. 85-87B Ceylon Road and 66 East Coast Road (GRTH Building). He advised the vendors in the sale of the Bank Central Asia Building in Jakarta and acted for the purchasers of the Inter-Continental Hotel in Singapore.
