
Teck Yeow is a Patent Attorney and a registered Patent Agent in Singapore specialising in all aspects of patents law. He has extensive experience undertaking the drafting of patent specifications in myriad technical fields, providing advisory services on the protection, exploitation and enforcement of patent rights, conducting clearance searches, as well as the prosecution of patent applications in Singapore and overseas.
Prior to joining Donaldson & Burkinshaw, Teck Yeow worked in another large intellectual property firm from 2007 to 2011 and was involved extensively with drafting patent specifications, prosecuting patent applications of diverse technologies in various jurisdictions, and advising on substantive patent law and strategies.
He also has considerable research experience. During his undergraduate years, he was involved in a multi-disciplinary research project in the field of immunology. He was also involved in research associated with the biomechanics of cells and structures as well as with the development of a new orthopedic medical device, at the National University of Singapore's nano-biomechanics laboratory and the Defence Medical Research Institute (DMERI) in Singapore respectively.
Teck Yeow graduated from the National University of Singapore with a B.Eng. (Hons.) in Bioengineering in 2007. In recognition of his outstanding scholastic achievements, Teck Yeow was placed in the Dean’s List during his undergraduate years of studies. In 2009, Teck Yeow completed with Distinction, the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property law, held jointly by the IP Academy and the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore.
Teck Yeow is a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Agents (ASPA).
