LOH Ling Xiu Sheryl

Sheryl is in an Associate in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice.

Since joining Donaldson & Burkinshaw in 2010, Sheryl has been given the opportunity to work on a diverse and comprehensive range of matters and has benefitted greatly from this. In general, her practice covers a wide spectrum of general, civil and commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on medico-legal work.

Sheryl has previously advised clients on the following: criminal charges (including cases involving drunk driving and assault), contractual claims, bankruptcy law, landlord and tenant disputes, copyright infringement, employment disputes, strata title matters, estate agency work and defamation. Sheryl also has experience in shareholder disputes and personal injury claims.

With regards to medico-legal work, Sheryl has assisted medical professionals on a broad spectrum of issues, including advising on Coroner’s Inquiries, Singapore Medical Council Inquires, patient complaints, giving expert evidence in court and medical negligence claims.

She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.

Sheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 2009 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in May 2010.
