Cheong Chee Min Maurice

 

Maurice practises general litigation in the law of intellectual property, medical negligence and Malpractice, insurance, commercial claims, criminal law and family proceedings.

 

He graduated with a LL.B (Hons) from the University of London in 1995. He completed his Bar Final Examinations from The General Council of the Bar, UK the following year, and was then admitted as a Barrister-in-law of the English Bar and a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He was called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1998. He obtained a Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore in 2003, specialising in Biomedical law & ethics. Before joining Donaldson & Burkinshaw in March 2000, he practised prosecution and litigation work in the Intellectual Property law firm of Messrs Ella Cheong & G Mirandah. He has been an Associate Partner of the firm since January 2001.
