Chiam E-Laine

E-Laine practises in all areas of intellectual property law. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1991. She joined Donaldson & Burkinshaw in 1991 and was made an Associate Partner in 1995. She became a Partner in January 2008.

E-Laine was awarded the ASEAN Scholarship by the Singapore Government. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 with a LL.B. (Hons) degree and is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA). E-Laine served on the Executive Committee of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) from 1997 to 2000 and is also a registered trade mark and industrial design agent in Malaysia. She is a registered Patent Agent in Singapore, and a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Agents (ASPA).
