Michael Stephen Kraal

Michael practises in all aspects of intellectual property law. He was made an Associate Partner of the firm in 1997 and became a Partner in January 2008.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1993 with a LL.B. (Hons) degree and underwent his pupillage with the firm of Messrs Ella Cheong & G Mirandah specialising in intellectual property law. Michael was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1994 and joined Donaldson & Burkinshaw in 1995 where he has continued his practice in intellectual property law. He is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and has been serving on the Executive Committee of the APAA (Singapore) since 2001. He is a registered Patent Agent in Singapore, and a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Agents (ASPA).
