Tan Bok Hoay

 

Bok Hoay practises in intellectual property work, corporate, insurance and landlord and tenant matters and specially caters to a number of hi-technology computer and software multi-national corporations. He graduated with LL.B. (Hons.) from the then University of Singapore in 1966. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1966 and joined Messrs Hilborne & Co. in 1967. In March 1968, he joined Donaldson & Burkinshaw, and became a Partner of the firm in 1973. He periodically contributes articles, as Vice-President to the Asia Pacific Lawyers' Association (APLA) and Vice-President of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association ("APAA") Singapore Group and as Singapore Representative of the APAA Anti-Counterfeiting Committee. Bok Hoay has also travelled extensively and delivered legal papers at conferences/seminars in many parts of the world including San Francisco, Beijing, Sydney and Kobe.
